I moved to thailand to teach, i studied teaching and it was always a dream to travel, and it certainly was an experience, I fell in love with making a difference everyday. I wanted to Experience a new way of living and i did, with a lot of lessons and moments of completeness, but i always remembered my home- South Africa, i spent my childhood growing up in Lenasia, lenz- a small suburb in johannesburg and swellendam in the western cape -I know how to walk the streets of Braamfontein and I know how to enter the lecture Halls of wits. I’m at the point where i feel more comfortable with launching this, I just realized a whole society can actually make a change together, there are so many Foreigners here that come to travel and settle down because the local thai people are so ‘jai dee’ that means in thai to have a quality of a ‘good heart’ -and i suppose i got to see that the world is a bigger place. And when i look at south africa, i not only miss my family and friends, its everything – the vibes south africans give abroad, yohh- we’re blessed, i remember one time when it was rugby and all the saffas here were off to watch the game, it was a hype and it just ended with a high of everyone missing home and just remembering the good things.
